Posted on September 18, 2025

Kaizer Chiefs latest player exit has been confirmed.

Kaizer Chiefs recently signed DDC captain Xolani Cossa to the first team.

However, he will not be featuring for the Amakhosi senior side this season because he has signed a loan deal with Black Lions in Botswana.

KAIZER CHIEFS SEND DDC CAPTAIN OUT ON LOAN

Cossa has been sent out on loan to Botswana-based outfit, Black Lions.

Interestingly, Chiefs have also just signed him to the first team. Meaning, he becomes Amakhosi’s latest confirmed player signing, too.

Sp, he joins 11 other new player recruits, including Nkanyiso Shinga, Flavio Silva, Ethan Chislett, Paseka Mako, Thabiso Monyane, Siphesihle Ndlovu, Asanele Velebayi, Etiosa Ighodaro, Luke Baartman, Lebogang Maboe and Khanyisa Mayo at Chiefs.

Chiefs have signed a total of 12 new players so far this transfer window.

MORE PLAYER MOVEMENTS LINED UP AT NATURENA

The transfer window closes on 22 September 2025.

Meaning, Chiefs and their PSL rivals have a few days left to make some last-minute changes to their playing personnel.

Chiefs are set to offload a few players following Nasreddine Nabi’s recent announcement. Amakhosi’s head coach confirmed that they will be trimming their squad size after he admitted that they have too many players in the current side.

These FIVE Amakhosi stars are likely heading out of Naturena. Three of them have attracted interest from PSL rivals. Gavin Hunt wants to bring Happy Mashiane and Tashreeq Morris to Durban City.

As reported on The South African, Zwane has attracted interest from PSL rivals, TS Galaxy.

Meanwhile, two Chiefs players have signed for PSL rivals.

Tebogo Potsane is now playing for Siwelele FC. Additionally, Ntandoyenkosi Nkosi joined TS Galaxy. Therefore, two Amakhosi stars have signed deals with other teams in the BetWay Premiership.

In total, Chiefs have completed over 20 deals this transfer window. These 12 players have joined Chiefs whilst these 11 players have departed Naturena.
