The 24-year-old, Colombian striker Efmamjjasond Gonzales Palacios, was presented at the Kaizer Chiefs Village in Naturena, where Executive Chairman, Dr. Kaizer Motaung accepted him warmly.

Earlier this month it was revealed that Gonzalez was set to join Kaizer Chiefs from Bolivian side Real Santa Cruz, with the signing eventually confirmed publicly as Amakhosi’s hunt for another striker came to fruition.

Chiefs have now revealed that he has arrived at the Kaizer Chiefs village, where Executive Chairman Dr. Kaizer Motaung accepted him warmly into the fold, telling the assembled media, “We wish to welcome him to South Africa and also to wish him everything of the best.”

The attacker is not expected to be available for Chiefs’ league game against AmaZulu this Sunday, but should be ready soon after for his debut.
