‘It’s In Mbule’s Hands’ – iDiski Times

Sekhukhune United captain Daniel Cardoso is among those happy to see midfielder Sipho Mbule getting another shot in reviving his career following reports about his alleged discipline issues off the pitch.

Mbule is of the new signings at Orlando Pirates after he was released by Mamelodi Sundowns for the said challenges. The 27-year-old enjoyed a loan spell at Babina Noko last season where despite his contribution on the field was still followed by his demons.

Cardoso is one of the players that have spoken about Mbule’s talent previously even saying his former teammate had so much potential he could even move abroad.

The former Kaizer Chiefs defender spoke to iDiski Times writer Lethabo Kganyago where he maintained his belief in the ‘Master Chef’s talents and joy at seeing him get a move to big club. He added that for him how successful Mbule gets is up to him.

“Yes, of course and as I said before, Sipho is one of the best talents that we have in our country,” Cardoso told iDiski Times.

“You know, he needs to realise that. He needs to wake up and realise that he has so much potential, and he has the world at his feet. And I’m glad that Pirates have given him the chance. So, I hope he takes this chance there, and he stops with whatever he’s doing and that he continues to shine.

“And I’m sure that he will. I think you only get a certain number of chances in football, and I think this time around he will take it with both hands, and I do wish all of the best, and I hope that he shines.”
