Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies secured a hard fought 1-0 victory over Zesco Ndola Girls FC to move top of Group A in their 2025 CAFWCL COSAFA Qualifiers at the AW Muller Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Banyana Ba Style picked up from where they left off in their opening game taking the lead in the 18th minute through Boitumelo Rabale’s low strike from the edge of the box to make it 1-0.

Noxolo Cesane was denied by Ndola goalkeeper Hazel Nali from close range in the 27th minute.

In the 67th minute, substitute Ronnell Donnelly thought she had finally got her goal for her new club after she tucked home from close range, but VAR intervened to chalk off her goal.

After a dominant 3-0 win in their opening clash against Ntopwa FC, Godfrey Sapula’s charges now lead Group A with six points having scored four goals without conceding.
