Chippa United have announced seven new signings including former Orlando Pirates duo Goodman Mosele and Azola Tshobeni.
The Chilli Boys have already shaken things up in the technical set-up by roping in former Wydad Athletic Club assistant coach Sinethemba Badela as head coach assisted by Musa Nyatama while Sinesipho Mali has taken over the Sporting Director role.
Mosele and Tshobeni both return to the Eastern Cape-based outfit on a season-long deal and permanent basis, respectively, after the Buccaneers opted not to extend the latter’s contract.
Chippa also made an announcement of Khanya Mfecane who is a 24-year-old defender and is a graduate of the esteemed Cape Town Spurs academy as well as Thulani Mini, 23, a winger who makes a return to Chippa after his stint with Stellenbosch FC.
Thamsanqa Magwaza, formerly with FC Ravens, who ironically played against the Chilli Boys in the 2024 Nedbank Cup Round of 16 where they narrowly lost out 2-1, has also been snapped up.
The Gqeberha-based outfit also brought back Sammy Seabi who is returning to the club on a permanent basis for his second stint after being clubless following his exit from Polokwane City earlier this year.
24-year-old goalkeeper Elson Ayanda Sithole is also another addition after his release from relegated Cape Town City.
