Kaizer Chiefs and Asante Kotoko have confirmed their starting line-ups for the 2025 Toyota Cup at Moses Mabhida Stadium this afternoon.

In the second edition of the pre-season cup hosted by Amakhosi, which Young Africans secured last season, there’s real optimism surrounding the squad for Nasreddine Nabi’s second season in charge.

Despite finishing ninth in the league, the ended their decade long trophy drought and a host of new additions to the squad are expected to take the team to new heights, following a pre-season tour of the Netherlands where they won one game and lost four.

While the results were indifferent, the performance levels of the squad were seemingly something to take positivity from and they will be aiming to take it into their clash at 15h00 against the Ghanian giants.

Chiefs XI: Petersen, McCarthy, Miguel, Shinga, Monyane, Mthethwa, Cele, Lilepo, Ngcobo, Vilakazi, Da Silva

Subs: Bvuma, Frosler, Zwane, Hlongwane, Matlou, Cross, Solomons, Chislett, Mmodi, Sirino, Nkgwesa, Shabalala, Duba, Ndlovu, Mabaso, Kwinika

Kotoko XI: tbc.
