Benni Names Final 25-Man CHAN Squad

Harambee Stars head coach Benni McCarthy has named his final 25-man squad for the 2024 Total Energies CHAN tournament.

The former Bafana Bafana striker has made just three changes to his final squad for the tournament scheduled to kick off this Saturday, August 2, 2025.

Brian Michira, Chrispin Erambo, and Edward Omondi have been called upon to replace the trio of Mohammed Bajaber, Swaleh Pamba, and Brian Musa.

Kenya take on DR Congo on Sunday, August 3, followed by clashes against Angola, Morocco, and Zambia in Group A.

Here’s the full squad:

Goalkeeper: Faruk Shikhalo, Byrne Omondi, Sebastian Wekesa

Defenders: Siraj Mohammed, Manzur Suleiman, Abud Omar, Alphonce Omija, Sylvester Owino, Mike Kibwage, Daniel Sakari, Lewis Bandi, Kevin Okumu

Midfielders: Chrispine Erambo, Brian Michira, Alpha Onyango, Austin Odhiambo, Ben Stanley, Marvin Nabwire

Forwards: Edward Omondi, Boniface Muchiri, David Sakwa, Ryan Ogam, Masoud Juma, Austin Odongo, Felix Oluoch
