Simba Set To Rope In Former Sundowns Analyst

Posted on December 29, 2025

Tanzanian giants Simba SC are set to rope in former Mamelodi Sundowns and Chippa United analyst Prinil Deen.

iDiski Times can confirm that Deen is set to join Steve Barker’s technical team at the Tanzanian giants.

Deen was at the Chilli Boys when this campaign got underway but only lasted for a short period along with Sinethemba Badela, Musa Nyatama and Thembalethu Moses.

He has been with Sundowns’ reserve side (DDC) after being recommended by Badela having seen him back in the days of coaching Cape Town All Stars in the Motsepe Foundation Championship when he was at Venda FC.

So far, he is the only South African joining Barker at Simba. The Reds of Msimbazi are currently fifth place in the Tanzanian Premier League with 12 points after five games with four games in hand.
