FIVE players heading out of Naturena?

Posted on December 27, 2025

As always, big changes are expected at Naturena with Kaizer Chiefs set to offload talent in the upcoming January transfer window.

Let’s take a look at the Amakhosi players linked with likely exits.

KAIZER CHIEFS SENIOR QUARTET FACING LIKELY EXITS

As things stand, senior Kaizer Chiefs players Fiacre Ntwari, Nkanyisa Shinga, Ethan Chislett and Tashreeq Morris are all linked with departures.

Things have gone from bad to worse for Rwandan goalkeeper, Ntwari.

He was dropped midway through the 2024/25 by former Kaizer Chiefs coach, Nasreddine Nabi.

Thereafter, Nabi opted for Brandon Petersen in goal.

Unfortunately, for Ntwari this did not change when interim co-coaches Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef too over.

Meanwhile, Morris too has fallen down the Kaizer Chiefs pecking order, with the likes of Etiosa Ighodaro and Flavio Silva favoured ahead of him.

Shinga and Chislett have both hardly featured since joining Kaizer Chiefs.

So, it comes as no surprise that both men are facing probable departures out of Naturena.

A split would be in the best interests of both parties as both players will no doubt want to play more regularly.

A move, whether a loan move or sale, will allow them a better chance to play more frequently.

AMAKHOSI DDC YOUNG STAR CLOSING IN ON NEW DEAL WITH PSL RIVALS

In other news, young talented Kaizer Chiefs academy product, Camrin Smit, is on the brink of joining a new team.

“Camrin Smit (2006) joined Kaizer Chiefs U17 at the beginning of 2023 and started his career at Amakhosi like a house on fire,” Football Stage posted.

“Seven games, five goals, five assists; unfortunately, he suffered an Achilles injury and was out for 13 months. This past weekend, he made his return and scored a brace,” they added.

As reported on the South African, the 19-year-old has been spotted training with Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit Midlands Wanderers and is believed to be on the verge of joining their academy.

That means a total of five Kaizer Chiefs First Team squad members and youth prospects are likely to bid farewell in early 2026.
