OFFICIAL: Richards Bay FC unveil Austin Dube from Kaizer Chiefs

Posted on July 14, 2023

Richards Bay FC have officially announced the return of centre-back Austin Dube following his departure from Kaizer Chiefs.

Dube’s exit from Chiefs was made official on Thursday, and later on the day, The South African website reported that he had joined Richards Bay FC on a two-year deal.

The 30-year-old defender had joined Chiefs from the Natal Rich Boyz in 2021 but his stint was rather difficult with only 18 games under his belt.

The arrival of Given Msimango and Thatayaone Ditlhokwe at Chiefs simply meant the end of the road for Dube.

But Richards Bay FC have always been firm to say they would gladly welcome Dube with both hands after serving them well prior to his Chiefs move.
