Bafana Bafana have learned that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) have confirmed the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon 2025) champions will take home USD7 million, approximately R117 million.

Runners-up will earn USD4 million (R67 million), while semi-finalists are set to receive USD2.5 million (R42 million) each.

AFCON 2025 INCREASED PRIZE MONEYS

Quarterfinalists are guaranteed USD1.3 million (R21 million). Sides reaching the round of 16 will bank USD800,000 (R13 million). Teams finishing lower in the group stages will also benefit.
