Chiefs coach Ben Youssef reveals biggest problem at Naturena

Posted on December 9, 2025

Kaizer Chiefs coach Khalil Ben Youssef has opened up on his side’s downward spiral.

The Glamour Boys are on a four-game winless run in all competitions.

Sunday’s goalless draw against TS Galaxy means Chiefs end the year four points behind log-leaders Orlando Pirates, who still have a game in hand.

And now, with pressure mounting, Ben Youssef has revealed his side’s biggest problem.

Biggest Kaizer Chiefs problem revealed

According to the Amakhosi co-coach, the Glamour Boys are struggling in one distinct area.

Kaizer Chiefs registered an incredible 24 shots at goal against Galaxy. Worryingly just eight were on target.

And with a 0% success rate, Ben Youssef is ringing the alarm bells at Naturena.

“We created lots of opportunities we have the same problem in the last third but we unlucky not to score,” the Kaizer Chiefs coach said as quoted by IDiski Times.

“Now we will have this break to fix the problem to think forward, how are we going to continue going forward.”

Amakhosi struggling in attack

Kaizer Chiefs have scored just 13 goals in 13 league matches this season.

With four of the 13 coming in a single match against Orbit College, there’s indeed a major problem at Naturena.

It’s no surprise that coach Khalil Ben Youssef is worried about his side’s misfiring attack.

The good news, if you can call it that, is that none of his players are going to the African Cup of Nations tournament.

This means he’ll have a full Kaizer Chiefs squad to work with during the upcoming PSL break.
