Banyana Talent Secures Exciting Move To Europe

Banyana Banyana forward Jessica Wade has secured a move to Finland with Åland United from JVW Football Club.

The 22-year-old has long been touted to make a move abroad, as one of the most promising talents in the country and the three-time Kansallinen Liiga champions confirmed the transfer on Sunday.

“We are incredibly proud to congratulate Jessica Wade on her move to Åland United! This is a massive achievement and a true reflection of her dedication, professionalism, and unwavering hunger to grow,” read part of the JVW Development statement.

“At JVW FC, we believe in more than developing great players, we believe in creating pathways to greater opportunities.

“Jessica’s journey is a shining example of what our program is built to do: nurture talent, elevate ambition, and open doors to the world of football beyond our borders.”

Wade is currently on senior international duty with the South Africa women’s national team who are currently in Morocco.
