When is Chiefs’ next league match & will a friend do them a favour?

Posted on November 27, 2025

Fixture scheduling can be a nightmare before and during Christmas. Kaizer Chiefs’ participation in Caf Confederation Cup action makes things even more complicated as they also navigate Betway Premiership tests.

The Glamour Boys must juggle local and continental commitments as they aim to continue a mini-surge up the table.

With the 2025 AFCON around the corner, here’s what’s in store for Amakhosi.

Kaizer Chiefs face challenges on two fronts

Chiefs must wait until 3 December for their next Betway Premiership assignment, away to the struggling Chippa United. Kickoff there is set for 19:30. Before that, their next clash on the continent is a home match with Zamalek on Saturday, 29 November at 15:00.

Former Chiefs boss Hunt can put a spanner in the Orlando Pirates works

Gavin Hunt’s newcomers, Durban City, have made a superb start to life in the top-flight, collecting 19 points from 13 games at a rate of 1.46 PPG. If Pirates avoid defeat there on Saturday, 29 November, it would be a big statement of intent. It’ll also guarantee a position at the summit going into the AFCON break.

The Sea Robbers went joint-top of the division with a routine 2-0 win over Chippa United. Oswin Appollis’ injury-time strike was his fourth goal of the season across all competitions; the ex-Polokwane man also has five assists. A good start to life as a Sea Robber. Chiefs fans will no doubt be hoping for Gavin Hunt’s team to halt Appollis and his teammates’ progress at the weekend.
