Kaizer Chiefs confirm another fixture postponement!

Posted on November 26, 2025

Kaizer Chiefs were scheduled to play a midweek fixture yet again this week but that will not be the case.

Last week, Chiefs were scheduled to play against TS Galaxy, but that game was postponed for next weekend.

The fixture against Galaxy was postponed due to Chiefs having CAF Confederation Cup commitments last week. Amakhosi travelled to Egypt to take on Al-Masry in their opening game loss over the weekend. On Wednesday, they were initially set to travel to take on Magesi FC but that was also moved to a later date due to the club having another continental against Zamalek.

“Kaizer Chiefs’ Betway Premiership clash with Magesi FC originally set for Wednesday, 26 November 2025 at Seshego Stadium, has been postponed due to their CAF Confed Cup commitments. The PSL will advise on the new date in due course,” wrote the club on their social media account.

Confirm postponement of Magesi fixture

A similar situation to Mamelodi Sundowns who have also seen their last two league games postponed. They are contesting the CAF Champions League and have their next assignment against their former coach in Rulani Mokwena’s MC Algers. For Chiefs, they will take on another Egyptian outfit in Zamalek at the Peter Mokhaba Stadium.

Their next league game is now scheduled for the third of December. This will be yet another away game in Gqeberha against Chippa United. After that Chiefs will travel once again, this time to the Mbombela Stadium. There they catch up the fixture against Galaxy.

As they look to balance the rigours of league and continental football, they will hope their depth can hold firm. Next year, they will have the addition of a third competition in the Nedbank Cup to navigate. As defending champions, they will at least want to have yet another deep run in it.

Happy with schedule management Khosi fans?
