Kaizer Chiefs make announcement on league match

Posted on November 19, 2025

Kaizer Chiefs have finally given Mpumalanga supporters clarity.

The club have confirmed that their postponed Betway Premiership match against TS Galaxy will now take place on Sunday, 7 December 2025, with Mbombela Stadium remaining the venue.

Kick-off shifts slightly from 15:00 to 15:30.

KAIZER CHIEFS CONFIRM NEW DATE FOR BETWAY PREMIERSHIP MATCH

The fixture was originally set for 14 September, but Amakhosi’s CAF Confederation Cup commitments forced a reshuffle as the club travelled to Angola for their preliminary-round meeting with Kabuscorp SCP.

“The Premier Soccer League (PSL) have announced that the rescheduled date for Kaizer Chiefs’ Betway Premiership fixture away to TS Galaxy will be Sunday, 7 December 2025,” the club stated on their website.

LOOKING DECENT SO FAR

Meanwhile, the Glamour Boys head into December in a strong position. The Soweto giants sit third on the Betway Premiership table, just three points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, and they still boast the best defensive record in the division. Seven clean sheets from 11 matches, with Stellenbosch FC, Polokwane City, Richards Bay, Sundowns, Golden Arrows, Siwelele FC and Durban City all failing to score against Kaizer Chiefs.

Only four teams have managed to find a way past Brandon Petersen this season: Sekhukhune United in that shock 3–1 loss, and then Marumo Gallants, AmaZulu and Orbit College, each scoring once.

Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs travel to Port Said to face Al Masry on Sunday, 23 November, as the CAF Confederation Cup group stage kicks into gear. Kick-off at the Suez Stadium is set for 18:00.
