Chiefs Extend Winless DDC Run, Stellies Held

Posted on October 26, 2025

Kaizer Chiefs extended their winless run to six matches after being held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Magesi in Sunday’s DStv Diski Challenge in Lebowakgomo.

Sunday’s fixtures started off with a dull 0-0 stalemate between Sekhukhune United and Siwelele FC before a pulsating five-goal thriller as AmaZulu beat Orbit College 3-2.

In the clash between Durban City and Stellenbosch FC down in eThekwini, it was a share of the spoils as the encounter ended 1-1.

In the last fixture of the weekend, Chiefs were once again denied a win by Dikwena Tsa Meetsi as the two sides played to a 1-1 draw in Lebowakgomo. Amakhosi took the lead through Leshate Morwasi netted for Chiefs in the 47th minute but Koketso Makgai equalized in the 59th minute.
