Fiacre Ntwari is reportedly the next Amakhosi star heading out of Naturena.
He was dropped midway through last season under coach Nasreddine Nabi with Brandon Peterson holding down the fort in goal for Kaizer Chiefs last season.
Since Nabi’s departure, new Kaizer Chiefs co-coaches Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef have also opted against selecting the Rwandan ‘keeper.
To make matters worse, Ntwari is on bad terms with Amakhosi’s technical team following his recent actions.

“With relations seemingly strained, all indications point towards an uncertain future for Ntwari at Naturena as the January transfer window approaches,” suggest reports.
Meanwhile, recent comments made by Rwandan head coach, Adel Amrouche, about Ntwari have also upset Kaizer Chiefs’ management.
“Adding to the tension, Rwanda head coach Adel Amrouche recently claimed that Ntwari had attracted offers abroad but that Kaizer Chiefs’ valuation of the player effectively priced him out of a potential move,” the report added.
These comments have upset the Amakhosi hierarchy.
“Those comments are said to have reportedly not gone down well with Kaizer Chiefs management, who felt the remarks were unnecessary,” the report suggested.
According to the latest player evaluations on TransferMarkt, Ntwari has an estimated value around the R7 million mark.
However, these estimations need to be taken with a pinch of salt as they constantly change based on several factors such as the role he plays – or not – as well as current form and the type of contract.
RWANDA BLUNDER WORSENS NTWARI’S AMAKHOSI SITUATION
Ntwari’s recent howler between the sticks resulted in a goal for Thalente Mbatha during Bafana Bafana’s 4-0 demolition job over Rwanda en route to qualifying for FIFA World Cup 2026.
Therefore, it appears as though Ntwari could be packing his bags sooner rather than later, although he cannot leave now due to the transfer window being closed.
However, he is likely to be released in the next transfer window in January next year.
This should improve the chances of Bruce Bvuma getting more game time as he strives to make it into the national team.
