Kaizer Chiefs are going through a difficult patch in recent months.

After a blistering start to the season, the Amakhosi’s fortunes have somewhat turned.

In their last seven games, Kaizer Chiefs have picked up just one victory. Adding to their woes has been their inability to score goals.

In fact, the Glamour Boys have scored just four goals in their last seven matches.

Kaizer Chiefs to be bolstered by new faces

Kaizer Chiefs are desperately looking to turn the corner following the departure of Nasreddine Nabi.

How much of their recent form is to blame on the coaching changes remains a mystery. However, one thing that’s for sure is that Chiefs have looked blunt in recent weeks.

Now, the club have been boosted by the return of some key new signings!

According to the latest club update, Kaizer Chiefs’ Lebohang Maboe, Nkanyiso Shinga and Etioso Ighodaro are all nearing full-fitness.

The trio joined the club at the beginning of the season however were unable to play for the club due to injury.

Furthemore, Asanele Velebayi and Luke Baartman have finally been cleared to feature for the club.

Two fixtures in four days

Following a goalless draw in the first-leg, Kaizer Chiefs welcome FC Simba to the Dobsonville next weekend.

The Glamour Boys will be looking to seal their spot in the CAF Confederation Cup group stages with a solid showing in the second-leg.

Before that, the Amakhosi host Siwelele on Wednesday evening in a crucial league fixture.

A victory on wednesday night could push Chiefs back into the league’s top-three.
