Baroka FC have confirmed that head coach Dan Malesela has been placed on suspension pending the outcome of a disciplinary process, club chairman Khurishi Mphahlele has told iDiski Times.
Bakgakga find themselves in the relegation zone in 15th spot on four points having picked up just a single win out of seven outings.
This past weekend in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, Baroka lost 2-0 to Pretoria University at home for their fifth defeat of the season.
Club chairman Khurishi Mphahlele confirmed on Monday that ‘Dance’ had been placed on suspension, despite reports that he had been fired, though he did not disclose the nature of the suspension.
“We will let you know tomorrow about who is taking over, and the suspension will run until the disciplinary process is finalized,” Mphahlele told iDiski Times.
“There is no time scheduled yet.”
