Pirates & Galaxy Starting XIs Announced

Posted on October 1, 2025

Orlando Pirates and TS Galaxy have named their starting line-ups for this evening’s Betway Premiership encounter at Orlando Stadium.

The Buccaneers have not put a foot wrong in the league since their 2-1 loss to Marumo Gallants and are currently on a four-match winning streak having collected maximum points against Stellenbosch, Orbit College, Chippa United and Siwelele FC.

Abdeslam Ouaddou’s charges sit eighth on the table after six matches, one point behind their upcoming opponents, who are in sixth spot.

The Rockets equally had a shaky start to this campaign with back-to-back defeats against Durban City and Sekhukhune United.

Adnan Beganovic’s side have since picked up three wins on the trot which included wins over Chippa United, Siwelele and Orbit College. They then played to a 1-1 stalemate with Richards Bay FC before thumping AmaZulu 3-1 last time out.

The last five meetings between these two sides have been dominated by the Soweto giants who won three outings, drawing one and losing one.
