Official: Chiefs Announce Two Exits

Posted on September 23, 2025

Kaizer Chiefs have announced that duo Happy Mashiane and Samkelo Zwane have been loaned to Siwelele FC.

Amakhosi have been very active in the transfer window, signing 11 players. But it bloated their squad to around 40 players, with Nasreddine Nabi confirming players still had to leave before he himself got suspended by the club.

With lack of game-time for Mashiane and Zwane, especially in 2025/26, the club now confirmed both have joined the new project of Siwelele, formerly SuperSport United.

“Kaizer Chiefs have agreed to loan duo Happy Mashiane and Samkelo Zwane to Siwelele FC for the remainder of the 2025/26 season,” the club stated.

“Both players are products of the Kaizer Chiefs Youth Development Academy. Mashiane, who plays at left-back and left-wing brings valuable CAF Champions League experience, while Zwane is widely regarded as one of the most talented young midfielders in the country.

“Their loan spells are expected to offer the players much-needed game-time. We wish both lads all the best for the rest of the season and look forward to welcoming them back to Naturena soon.”
