Witbooi Scores But CT City Still Winless & Casric Stay Top

Cape Town City‘s winless run continued as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Kruger United while table-topping Casric Stars also dropped points though they kept their spot at the top intact. 

City dropped two points for the fourth consecutive time this season following the stalemate against Kruger United. City took the lead through wonder kid Emile Witbooi but seven minutes later Thulani Ndlela scored the equalizer for United. City dropped to 14th place and United remains in eighth place. 

Casric came from behind to steal a point from Baroka. Bakgakga took the lead through Kagiso Selemela and Stars levelled matters with 10 minutes remaining on the clock to salvage a point and remain top of the league table. 

Leicesterford City played a goalless draw with Venda FC. City is just above relegation zone while VFC are in the top eight.

Black Leopards held Lerumo Lions to a 1-1 draw despite once again using defender Thendo Mukumela as the goalkeeper due to players not registered. 

Milford FC hammered new kids on the block The Bees away from home by 3-1 as Jabulile Gxakoshe, Mjabulise Mkhize and Vusumuzi Mathabela all recorded their names on the scoresheet for Milford.
