Mofokeng has left Orlando Pirates to join Chiefs (Mochudi) for the 2025/26 season.

Orlando Pirates recently offloaded DDC star Tefu Mofokeng to Botswana outfit, Mochudi Chiefs.

In fact, he was named in their starting XI, yet again, during their recent league encounter.

The talented Pirates product recently signed an extended loan deal with Chiefs in Botswana.

“Botswana Premier League side Mochudi Centre Chiefs have extended the loan deal for Orlando Pirates promising youngster Tefo ‘Chippa’ Mofokeng,” Goal confirmed.

Now, Mofokeng is a key part of the Chiefs team (Mochudi Chiefs). Furthermore, he scored a goal during his side’s recent 3-0 win against Santa Green FC on Friday evening.

So, he is set to return from his loan spell at the end of the season.

PIRATES LATEST MOVES CONFIRMED

Mpumelelo Ndaba recently joined PSL rivals, TS Galaxy.

So, Ndaba and Mofokeng are the most recent Bucs DDC products to find new clubs for the 2025/26 season. Meaning, Katlego Otladisa is the most recent senior team exit.

Also, he is currently training with rivals, Durban City. Furthermore, the ex-Kaizer Chiefs coach is monitoring Otladisa as well as an Amakhosi striker and defender.

Additionally, Pirates have just completed their 15th signing. Bucs DDC product, Neo Mokeona, has just signed a three-year deal with the first team.

Meanwhile, the recently departed Bucs star is one of these 18 confirmed Pirates departures.

Therefore, Pirates have been the busiest team in the current PSL transfer window. The Bucs have completed over 30 deals with 18 departures and 15 signings confirmed. In contrast, Kaizer Chiefs have completed over 20 deals with these 11 Amakhosi player departures and 12 signings confirmed.
