How Much Money Pirates Earned In MTN8 Revealed

Orlando Pirates banked a whopping R10 million after lifting the 2025 MTN8 trophy after beating Stellenbosch FC 3-0 in extra-time.

Both teams couldn’t be separated after 90 minutes, but Pirates took control of the match inside extra-time, with Tshepang Moremi and Tshegofatso Mabasa both scoring off the bench.

The result saw Pirates lift the Wafa Wafa cup for a fourth successive time, and the the Buccaneers are also smiling all the way to the bank.

This season, Pirates received R10 million for lifting the MTN8 trophy, making it an incredible R40 million over the last four season.

Meanwhile, the other participants, including runners-up Stellenbosch FC, all received R1 million.
