Official: Ex Chiefs Winger Joins Sundowns

Posted on August 29, 2025

Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Tsiki Ntsabeleng has secured a loan move from Major League Soccer outfit FC Dallas to Mamelodi Sundowns.

The former Chiefs youth player was scouted by the University of Coastal Carolina while he was playing for UJ and was offered a scholarship. He went on to play for the American College for two years.

After being drafted by the MLS side in 2022, Ntsabeleng registered 92 appearances, two goals, and seven assists across all-competitions with FC Dallas, including 13 appearances in 2025.

However, the club, who extended his contract for two years in January 2025, now loaned the South African to Masandawana.

“FC Dallas has loaned midfielder Katlego ‘Tsiki’ Ntsabeleng to Mamelodi Sundowns FC of the South African Premiership until June, 2026,” the club announced.

Ntsabeleng was also part of the famed Stars of Africa Football Academy run by Farouk Khan before his stint in the Amakhosi youth structures.
