TUT Matsatsanta Ladies romped to a 5-2 hammering of Royal AM while Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies made it two wins on the trot with a 3-1 win over Durban Ladies in the Hollywoodbets Super League this past weekend.

Melinda Kgadiete scored twice with Noxolo Cesane contributing the winning goal as the champions collected 38 points in 16 matches. For the KZN based outfit they remain winless and at the bottom of the log with just five points from 17 games.

With the huge win, TUT kept up with their neighbours at the top as Thabiso Senyatsi scored a hattrick in the game and rose to the top of the top goal scorer charts with nine goals. Naledi Thakanyane and Xesi chipped in the other two goals as TUT remained in second place on the standings with 34 points in 18 outings while Royal languish second from bottom with 13 points from 19 matches.

Elsewhere, TS Galaxy Queens dropped two points after being held to a 1-1 draw by Copperbelt Ladies at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium. The hosts had scored first from the penalty spot before Busisiwe Ndimeni levelled matters in the second half to save Galaxy blushes with the Mpumalanga side now third on the standings tied on 31 points with fourth-placed JVW FC who defeated Richmond United 2-0 in De Aar.
