There’s a new attacking talent at Orlando Pirates that many of us did not expect after the Buccaneers signed Oswin Appollis. He goes by the name of Kamogelo Sebebele from TS Galaxy.

Sebelebele steps into the spotlight following the departure of Mohau Nkota to the Saudi Pro League. The winger’s arrival brings renewed optimism for Orlando Pirates fans. The 22-year-old from Tembisa offers positional versatility and creative freedom to the new head coach’s tactical setup.

According to TS Galaxy’s technical director, Nermin Bašić, the Buccaneer can operate across positions, primarily on the flanks or behind the striker, and will add high value to coach Abdeslam Ouaddou’s side.

“Mike is an unbelievable player 1v1, you never know where and what he will do when dribbling, that’s why he will be top for Orlando Pirates, what’s important for me, is the next step from the player,” said Bašić via iDiski Times.

“Orlando Pirates, I saw in the last years how they have improved the youngsters, and they have made some big transfers, Mike deserves to be there, and they know how they will use him; he will make history.

“He is a different player [to Nkota] but Mike can play different positions, four positions, left-back, right-back, number 10, either wing – this is value, he has this value, it’s a bonus, so that’s why he feel he adds value to Orlando Pirates,” Bašić added.

In the meantime, the Sea Robbers will kick off the Betway Premiership at home to Sekhukhune United on Saturday. The game will kick off at 17:30 at the Orlando Stadium.
