Orlando Pirates (Signings & Exits): FOUR more expected deals

Posted on August 5, 2025

Orlando Pirates have completed a substantial amount of transfer business. More moved are lined up.

Orlando Pirates have completed 23 deals (signings and departures).

However, they are not done with squad changes just yet.

PIRATES TRIO FACIN LIKELY DEPARTURES OUT OF MAYFAIR

Goodman Mosele, Katlego Otladisa, Karim Kimvuidi and ‘Gilberto’, aka, Deivi Vieira are all facing likely departures out of Mayfair.

So, Pirates midfielder Mosele is set to join PSL rivals Chippa United on loan.

“He’s not the only one from Pirates that will be loaned to Chippa, but I can tell you for sure that Goodman has been shipped to Chippa. I’m not sure what this means for his future going forward if he does well, because at 25, age is still on his side,” the report read on Phakaaati.

Meanwhile, as reported on The South African, Otladisa, Kimvuidi and ‘Gilberto’ are all linked with probable departures.

This is because all of these players have fallen down the Bucs pecking order under Abdeslam Ouaddou.

MORE SIGNINGS UNLIKELY BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE

Pirates have signed a total of 12 new players so far.

Meaning, they have secured most of their new signings. They have secured depth in every single position with these new signings to be rotated. Finally, this is who Ouaddou is likely to start and who he will bench out of the new Pirates players.

OUADDOU AND NEW PIRATES CAPTAIN TO USHER IN NEW ERA

So, the Bucs have signed 12 new players.

Of these new players, these THREE new Pirates players are expected to start regularly under Abdeslam Ouaddou this season. Meaning, these Bucs regulars will likely be dropped to the bench.

Meanwhile, these SEVEN new Pirates players are likely to be BENCHED. Here’s which players Ouaddou will likely START and who he will be rotating off the bench during the 2025/26 season.

They will be lead by a new Pirates captain and two new vice-captains.
