Orlando Pirates have 12 new players. Most are likely to be rotated but some are set for regular starts.

Orlando Pirates have signed 12 new players – more than any of the other sides in the PSL.

Most of them are set to be rotated. However, a few big-name signings are set to feature prominently under Abdeslam Ouaddou this season.

PIRATES 12 NEW PLAYERS

  • Sipho Mbule (Mamelodi Sundowns)
  • Yanela Mbuthuma (from Richards Bay)
  • Masindi Nemtajela (Marumo Gallants)
  • Tshepang Moremi (AmaZulu)
  • Nkosikhona Ndaba (Richards Bay)
  • Abdoulaye S Mariko (Djoliba AC)
  • Sinoxolo Kwayiba (Chippa United)
  • Tshepo Mashiloane (Baroka)
  • Sihle Nduli (Stellenbosch)
  • Oswin Appollis (Polokwane City)
  • Kamogelo Sebelebele (TS Galaxy)
  • Lebone Seema (TS Galaxy).

Thereafter, Moremi, Mbuthuma, and Mariko all made their Bucs debuts off of the bench. So, half of the debutants made their first Bucs appearances.

Meanwhile, Seema, Sebelebele, Mashiloane, Kwayiba, Ndaba and Nemtajela are all set to earn their Bucs debuts this season.

BUCS PLAYERS LIKELY STO START REGULARLY UNDER OUADDOU

Appollis, Mbule and Nduli are all likely to feature prominently for Pirates under Ouaddou this season.

All three new Bucs players impressed on their debuts for Pirates during their 2-0 win against Polokwane City during the MTN8 quarter-finals.

These Pirates players fired whilst, these players were underwhelming. So, you can expect Appollis to feature prominently on attack under Ouaddou this season. Meanwhile, both Mbule and Nduli will be used in big games if they perform at the same level throughout the season.

Meanwhile, these SEVEN Pirates new players are likely to be benched this season.
