Orlando Pirates youngstar, Tefo Mofokeng will be playing for Mochudi Centre Chiefs in Botswana.

Another Mofokeng, another young talented starlet from Orlando Pirates grabbing headlines.

Tefu Mofokeng will be leaving Mayfair and flying off to Botswana.

MOFOKENG SIGNS LOAN DEAL WITH MOCHUDI CHIEFS

Pirates academy has the world on high alert.

First, Mohau Nkota went to Saudi Arabia. Now, young starlet, Mofokeng (Tefo) is off to Botswana.

“Botswana Premier League side Mochudi Centre Chiefs have extended the loan deal for Orlando Pirates promising youngster Tefo ‘Chippa’ Mofokeng,” the report read on Goal.

So, he will be plying his trade in Botswana for another season.

Mofokeng joined Chiefs (in Botswana) back in February. However, they have been so impressed by his performances that they have decided to extend his loan for the whole of the next season.

Chiefs signed the Bucs youngster in February this year after impressive performances with Pele Pele FC, Pirates’ junior side in the ABC Motsepe League, Gauteng Division.

“Chiefs were probably excited by Mofokeng’s skills and were hopeful he was going to sharpen their striking department,”

“During the 2024/25 season, Mofokeng scored crucial goals for Chiefs, and in April, he managed to score in two straight games,” they added on the same publication.

BUCS ACADEMY CONTINUES TO PRODUCE

As mentioned, Mofokeng is going to continue playing in Botswana next season.

Additionally, Nkota went from playing in the academy to earning millions in Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, Relebohile Mofokeng trialled for Wolves in England last season. Furthermore, he has attracted interest in the Middle East with millions tabled for the Pirates superstar. Finally, Mbekezeli Mbokazi is now a fully-fletched Bucs first team player.

DO YOU THINK PIRATES PRODUCT TEFU ‘CHIPPA’ MOFOKENG WILL REACH THE HEIGHTS AS RELEBOHILE MOFOKENG?
