Kaizer Chiefs Marketing & Commercial Director Jessica Motaung has insisted the club will sign more players before the transfer window shuts.

So far, Amakhosi have announced six new arrivals, namely Nkanyiso Shinga, Ethan Chislett, Flavio Da Silva, Paseka Mako, Thabiso Monyane and Siphesihle Ndlovu.

But according to Motaung, the club is not done with signing new players, while she also hailed the club’s DStv Diski Challenge players who were on tour in the Netherlands.

“We’re ready for combat and certainly look to sign even more,” she told SABC News.

“With the window open till September, I think supporters can watch this space and know that we’ll have more players that we’ll be signing.

“We’re excited also with some of our youth players we showcased in the pre-season, who showed that they understand the Chiefs culture, the Chiefs way of doing things.

“So, we’re very excited about that.”

Chiefs’ next official friendly match takes place on Saturday when Amakhosi host Ghanaian record champions Asante Kotoko in this year’s Toyota Cup.
