Sekhukhune United striker Andy Boyeli looks set to make a surprise move to Tanzania Premier League champions Young Africans SC ahead of the new season.
The Congolese striker joined Sekhukhune from Zambia Super League side Power Dynamos at the start of last season, with a sterling reputation and while he impressed in patches, he managed to notch up six goals in 27 appearances.
But the return of Wonderboy Makhubu and the signings of Sphiwe Mhlangu and Bradley Grobler, has the club now entertaining interest in the 24-year-old, with Yanga at the forefront.
Sources close to the East African giants have confirmed that a deal has been agreed in principle, for what is likely to be a one-year loan with an option to buy.
Yanga won four domestic trophies last season but are embarking on a revamp, with new head coach Romain Folz expected to be unveiled later this week.
The club have already landed highly rated Guinea international midfielder Moussa Conté from CS Sfaxien, while Stephane Aziz Ki and Kennedy Musonda have joined Wydad Athletic Club and Hapoel Ramat Gan respectively.
