Miguel Cardoso will be in charge of his 100th official game for Mamelodi Sundowns when they play against Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 final.
The two teams will lock horns on Saturday, 10 October in what will be a repeat of the 2023 MTN8 final.
Kick-off is at 18:00.
MTN8: MIGUEL CARDOSO SET FOR 100TH MATCH WITH SUNDOWNS
Now, this match will see Cardoso set a personal milestone of 100 official matches in charge of the Brazilians.
He joined Sundowns on 10 December 2024, replacing Manqoba Mngqithi who had just been a few months into the head coaching role.
Since then, the 54-year-old mentor has enjoyed success with the club, winning three major trophies.
He guided Sundowns to the Betway Premiership title in his first season, and recently won the FIFA African-Asian-Pacific Cup.
Last season, Cardoso delivered the CAF Champions League trophy which had been eluding Sundowns for years.
Now, in the 99 matches he has been in charge of, Cardoso won 63, drew 24 and suffered just 12 defeats.
He is yet to win a domestic Cup competition, and beating Pirates to the MTN8 title on Saturday could be very special.
