Kaizer Chiefs will turn their attention to their next Betway Premiership assignment against Polokwane City after securing a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Siwelele at Dobsonville Stadium on Sunday evening.
The win moved Amakhosi to 11 points from five matches, lifting them back into third place on the league table.
They trail log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns by five points, but Masandawana have played one extra match.

Mfundo Vilakazi opened the scoring in the first half before Wandile Duba doubled Kaizer Chiefs’ advantage after the break. A late own goal restored the two-goal cushion before Siwelele pulled another goal back in stoppage time.
Despite the narrow winning margin, Kaizer Chiefs controlled large periods of the encounter and showed attacking intent in difficult, windy conditions.

Attention now shifts to Polokwane City, with Kaizer Chiefs travelling north for their next league fixture on Saturday, 12 September.
The match presents another opportunity for coach Fernando da Cruz’s side to build momentum early in the Betway Premiership campaign.
Kaizer Chiefs have made a positive start to the season and will be looking to strengthen their position near the top of the table with another three points.
Meanwhile, Polokwane City are down in 10th place with six points from as many matches thanks to one win, three draws and one defeat.
The trip to Polokwane will provide Kaizer Chiefs with another test as they look to maintain their position among the early title contenders.
With 11 points already on the board, Amakhosi will be aiming to convert their promising start into a sustained challenge at the top of the Betway Premiership standings.
