Newly-signed Kaizer Chiefs attacker Langelihle Phili has started training with his teammates at Naturena ahead of this weekend’s MTN8.
Amakhosi will be at home against Golden Arrows in the quarterfinals of the MTN8 on Sunday evening.
Kick-off is at FNB Stadium is at 18:00.
Now, Phili could be in line to make his debut for the Glamour Boys on the weekend after completing his move from Stellenbosch FC this week.
The 21-year-old’s deal to Chiefs involved the transfers of both Ashley du Preez and Given Msimango who permanently joined Stellies.

NEW KAIZER CHIEFS SIGNING PHILI TO WEAR JERSEY NO.70?
Now, Phili was seen at the Village wearing the No.70 jersey, and perhaps this could be the one allocated to him as a new signing.
He wore the No.11 jersey at Stellies, but it is taken by Luke Baartman at Chiefs, and he had to opt for a different jersey number.

LANGELIHLE PHILI’S STATS…
Phili, as young as he is, has 72 official games to his name since his breakthrough in the professional ranks.
He has 11 goals and two assists to his name in those 72 games; the majority of which were scored last season.
The attacker featured in 26 league games last season and scored seven goals but overall, Phili made 39 appearances and scored nine goals.
