Orlando Pirates began the defence of their Betway Premiership title in the best possible fashion on Saturday, beating newcomers Milford FC at the Orlando Amstel Arena.
The Buccaneers prevailed 2-0 thanks to goals from Oswin Appollis (24th minute) and Tshepang Moremi (85th minute).
Meanwhile, in the two other matches that kicked off at 15:00, Golden Arrows and Chippa United played to a goalless draw, while AmaZulu beat Stellenbosch FC, 1-0.
