Defending champions Orlando Pirates begin their 2026/27 Betway Premiership title defence against newly promoted Milford FC at the Orlando Amstel Arena on Saturday. Kick-off is at 15:00.
The Buccaneers will be aiming to make the perfect start to the new campaign in front of their home supporters. It will also be their first competitive match since the departure of Relebohile Mofokeng.
Milford FC enter the match after securing promotion through the playoffs. Coach Dr Xanti Pupuma will lead his side into their first-ever Betway Premiership match.
The visitors have nothing to lose against one of the country’s biggest clubs. However, Orlando Pirates start the match as overwhelming favourites to claim all three points and begin their title defence on a winning note.
