Manqoba Mngqithi: Someone blocked my move to Kaizer Chiefs, I know the person who did it
“The Chiefs one never even reached terms and positions and did not because someone blocked it. I am fortunate to know that person and I am not worried about it. But it is true,” the new Young Africans head coach said.
“There was recent interest as well. [I also went to Naturena and made a presentation] before I joined Mamelodi Sundowns. Even then, Chiefs wanted me strongly; I had very cordial talks even with senior Kaizer Motaung.
“I know they have always shown interest in me, but for whatever reason it never happens [that I join Chiefs]. I don’t have any problem with that because there are so many jobs in this planet.”
