Orlando Pirates will kick off their 2026/27 Betway Premiership title defence with a home clash against newly promoted Milford FC. The match will take place on Saturday, 1 August as the Buccaneers begin their pursuit of back-to-back league titles.
Thereafter, the Sea Robbers will travel to face AmaZulu FC on Wednesday, 12 August before taking on Chippa United away from home just four days later.
Next, the defending champions will return home to welcome Sekhukhune United on Tuesday, 25 August. They will then travel to face newly promoted Kruger United on Saturday, 5 September.
The Premier Soccer League has yet to confirm the venues and kick-off times for four of the five fixtures.

The opening schedule presents an early challenge for Bucs. However, the defending champions will hope to build momentum as they target another strong start to the season.

CHAMPIONS FACE EARLY TEST
After opening their campaign against Milford FC, Orlando Pirates will immediately hit the road for consecutive away fixtures against AmaZulu FC and Chippa United.
Meanwhile, the home clash against Sekhukhune United could prove to be one of the standout fixtures in the opening month. Finally, the trip to Kruger United will complete a demanding start for the Buccaneers as they look to defend their Betway Premiership crown.
