Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Junior Khanye has urged Amakhosi to sign Sipho Mbule once he returns to South Africa.
The 28-year-old midfielder joined Iraqi side Zakho FC after parting ways with Orlando Pirates earlier this month.
Khanye, who has been a fan of Mbule, believes the talented midfielder will return to the PSL and play for Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs.
“What is important is for Sipho is to play football. Sipho is talented, he made a good decision by leaving the country, it’s a blessing in disguise,” Khanye told KickOff.
“Sipho will still come back to play for one of the big teams in the country, and after this, he might return to Kaizer Chiefs,” Khanye said.

Khanye said Mbule should take advantage of having another chance to rebuild his career.
“He must first admit to himself [that] he is the one who hurt his career.
“He must thank God he is getting another chance, some players don’t get so many chances in football.”
Mbule was released by Mamelodi Sundowns last year this time and was linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs as well as Pirates. It was the Buccaneers who pounced on the talented midfielder.
Despite his positive start to his Pirates career, it was reported that off-the-field related issues saw the Bafana Bafana star lose his place in the team. Having signed just a one-year deal, the Buccaneers opted not to renew his contract.
