Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are wasting no time trimming their squads ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Amakhosi have confirmed three departures players to date, while the Buccaneers have parted ways with eight players.

Here’s the full list of confirmed exits from Naturena and Mayfair.

ALL CONFIRMED KAIZER CHIEFS AND ORLANDO PIRATES EXITS

Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have already offloaded an entire starting XI worth of talent.

Here are all the confirmed departures from both Soweto giants.

BUSY BUCS DOMINATE THE TRANSFER WINDOW AS AMAKHOSI START SQUAD REVAMP

This is not necessarily a measure of who is ‘winning’ the transfer window. However, Orlando Pirates have been the busiest club in the PSL when it comes to recruitment.

The Buccaneers have already completed eight signings. By comparison, Kaizer Chiefs have secured just one new arrival, having signed Thabo Moloisane from Stellenbosch FC.

Meanwhile, as reported by The South African, Orlando Pirates have wrapped up the signings of Siyanda Ndlovu, Mthetheleli Mthiyane, Sbangani Zulu, Bohale Ngwato, Ghampani Lungu, Neo Rapoo, Aphier Baliti and Matome Mmolai.

MORE MOVEMENT EXPECTED AT NATURENA

With just one signing confirmed, Kaizer Chiefs are widely expected to strengthen further before the transfer window closes.

At the top of Amakhosi’s wishlist is Stellenbosch FC winger Langelihle Phili.

They showed just how serious they were by offering two players and cash in an attempt to sign the talented attacker from their PSL rivals.

However, Stellenbosch FC blue-ticked Amakhosi’s offer.

Now, the Cape Winelands-based side have placed a reported R16 million price tag on the their sought-after attacker.

It remains to be seen whether the Soweto giants are prepared to meet the asking price.

More player departures are expected as new head coach Fernando Da Cruz shapes his squad.

Fiacre Ntwari and Gaston Sirino are among the players expected to leave Naturena before the start of the new season.
