Orlando Pirates have been one of the busiest clubs in the transfer market. However, their business is far from complete.
Orlando Pirates have already signed SIX new players who have already arrived at Mayfair.
Yet the club’s recruitment drive is still gathering momentum. In fact, Pirates are closely monitoring tow more PSL players as they continue shaping their squad for the season ahead.
PIRATES MONITERING ATTACKER FROM GOLDEN ARROWS
Pirates remain interested in Golden Arrows attackers Siyanda Ndlovu and Ayabulela Maxwele.
“Among the players believed to be on the club’s radar are Golden Arrows attackers Siyanda Ndlovu and Ayabulela Maxwele,” Soccer Laduma reported.
Both players were strongly linked with a move to the Bucs before the club unveiled its latest arrivals.
Ndlovu was announced moments ago with Maxwele expected to join the Bucs next. He is valued at over R5 million, according to the latest reported player values based off of Transfermarkt.
Meanwhile, Ndlovu, Neo Rapoo, Mthetheleli Mthiyane, Sbangani Zulu, Bohale Ngwato and Ghampani Lungu have all joined the Buccaneers in recent weeks.
However, head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou and the Orlando Pirates hierarchy are not finished strengthening their squad.
The club is eager to add greater attacking depth, with Ndlovu (attacking midfielder) and Maxwele (right wing/right back) viewed as potential solutions. As the demands of a packed campaign grow, quality competition in the final third could prove invaluable.

BUCS HAVE TALENTED DEFENDER FROM PSL RIVALS ON THEIR RADOR
Pirates are not only looking to strengthen their attacking options.
The Soweto giants are also assessing defensive targets as they prepare for a demanding season across multiple competitions.
Polokwane City defender and Bafana Bafana international Thabang Matuludi has emerged as another player admired by the club.
“The Siya crew has also been informed that Polokwane City and Bafana Bafana defender Thabang Matuludi remains among the players admired by Pirates,” the same publication reported.
Additionally, as mentioned, Maxwele offers more than just attacking quality. He is also capable of operating at right back, providing valuable versatility at both ends of the pitch.
Consequently, his potential arrival would strengthen Orlando Pirates’ attacking options while simultaneously adding much needed depth in defence.
The versatile defender has impressed with his consistency and composure, qualities that could make him an attractive option for the Buccaneers.
Base on the latest Transfermarkt latest market evaluations, Matuludi is valued at over R22 million and Maxwele at more than R5 million. Thus giving the duo a combined market value of almost R30 million (roughly R28 million).
