Nedbank Cup Final Tickets on Sale Monday: Chiefs vs Pirates Set for Historic Clash

Posted on May 5, 2025

Tickets for Saturday’s Nedbank Cup final between Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will go on sale Monday at 10:00, with expectations of a record sell-out. The highly anticipated clash at Moses Mabhida Stadium (56,000 capacity) marks the second meeting between the two sides in consecutive weeks, following Pirates’ 2-1 victory in last weekend’s sold-out league encounter.

Key Details:

  • Ticket Price: General admission starts at R150

  • Purchase Limit: Max 4 tickets per person

  • Where to Buy: Online via TicketPro or at Shoprite/Checkers outlets

  • Kickoff: Saturday, 15:30

Chiefs, desperate to end a 10-year trophy drought, face a buoyant Pirates side chasing their sixth title in three years. This will be the first Nedbank Cup final between the two since 2006—before Nedbank took over sponsorship in 2008.

With demand expected to surge, fans are urged to secure tickets early. Hospitality packages will also be available from Monday.

Will Amakhosi finally lift silverware, or will the Buccaneers continue their dominance? The stage is set for another unforgettable Soweto derby.
