Relebohile Mofokeng has been awarded the Orlando Pirates Player of the Month for May, as voted by the fans.
The 21-year-old played a pivotal role in a highly successful season for the Buccaneers, contributing to two domestic cup titles and helping secure the Betway Premiership title.
He maintained his consistency throughout the final stretch of the league campaign, leading the team in chances created while wearing the Bucs colors in May.
This stellar performance earned him another Orlando Pirates Player of the Month award, marking his fourth for the recently concluded season; he also received the accolade in December, February, and March.

In this voting process, “President yama-2000,” triumphed over tough competition from his teammates by securing 18% of the votes.
Kamogelo Sebelebele followed closely with 17%, while Patrick Maswanganyi garnered 16%. Defenders Lebone Seema and April winner Oswin Appollis each received 15%, highlighting the collective excellence that brought another Treble to the Soweto Giants.
Throughout the season, Mofokeng scored 11 goals and provided nine assists for the Buccaneers, marking his best year in the club’s colors. Having already won seven trophies with the team, it seems likely that this talented 21-year-old attacker will play abroad next season.
Mofokeng is one of the eight Pirates players in the Bafana Bafana squad to play in the FIFA World Cup. He is almost certain to get minutes and his performance will determine whether he moves to a big league or not.
