Siwelele FC head coach Lehlohonolo Seema is keen to keep Samkelo Zwane and Happy Mashiane, who are on loan from Kaizer Chiefs.
Seema has had a good season thus far and could help his side finish in the top eight if his side wins on Saturday and other results go his way.
Zwane and Mashiane have not been utilised by Amakhosi and many fans feel the two players are better off elsewhere.
Speaking to Soccer Laduma, Seema said he was happy with the Kaizer Chiefs duo at the club.
“I need to work with them from the beginning of the season, in pre-season, and then we set our goals.
“They are good players, and every coach would love to have them in their team, but unfortunately, time was not on their side because this team had to win games, and we had to save ourselves,” Seema said.
“Games were coming thick and fast because of the World Cup, so we had to work hard.
“There are players that, if their teams want us to have them, we can definitely have them from pre-season because I can tell you they are good players,” he added.
Kaizer Chiefs to make decision on two players
Mashiane and Zwane have not impressed much since joining Siwelele on loan and it seems unlikely that Chiefs would want to retain them for next season.
“If they are available, why not? It’s not our decision to make. We will have to wait on [Chiefs],” Seema concluded.
