Orlando Pirates may already be signing potential replacements for Relebohile Mofokeng or Oswin Appollis.
Siwelele’s Ntwato, aged 20 from Garankuwa in Tshwane, has caught the Buccaneers’ eye after just six matches since making his debut in February against Richards Bay FC in the Nedbank Cup.
Fondly known as a “John Wick,” Ngwato is an enterprising right-sided left winger that loves to take on defenders.
SIWELELE’S BOHLALE NGWATO TO ORLANDO PIRATES
According to the leading SABC Sports journalist Mazola Molefe, the Sea Robbers are closing in on Ngwato.
After five games, Ngwato earned his first Man of the Match award during last weekend’s 0-0 draw against Marumo Gallants.
“Orlando Pirates are closing in on Bohlale Ngwato,” Molefe reported. “You’ll remember him from the SuperSport academy following the sale change over from SuperSport to Siwelele. Lehloholo Seema [Siwelele head coach], giving him his top flight debut this season.
“He won Man of the Match last weekend, could it be Orlando Pirates are building for the future. He is only 20 years old. When you win Man of the Match in a top flight division, something special there,” Molefe concluded.

REPLACEMENT FOR RELEBOHILE MOFOKENG OR OSWIN APPOLLIS
With Orlando Pirates mostly likely to lose the sensational Relebohile Mofokeng and Oswin Appollis to clubs abroad, Ngwato, who happens to wear Mofokeng’s jersey number 38 at Siwelele, may be seen as the club’s next star winger next season.
Rumours also say Orlando Pirates are signing two attacking stars from Golden Arrows.
Mofokeng is likely to move to greener pastures after 11 goals and eight assists this season. His teammate Appollis has been equally excellent with 11 goals and nine assists.
Similarly to both Mofokeng and Appollis, Ngwato first became a star for his team in the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) before making the step up to the Betway Premiership.
