Siwelele FC head coach Lehlohonolo Seema believes Orlando Pirates are still truly alive in the title race.
The Buccaneers were held to a 1-1 draw at the Orlando Amstel Arena on Saturday afternoon. Vincent Pule had given the visitors the lead before Tshepang Moremi rescued a point for the Buccaneers.
In the context of the title race, the result could hurt Orlando Pirates, as Mamelodi Sundowns now have the chance to reclaim top spot if they beat Marumo Gallants in midweek.

ORLANDO PIRATES STILL IN THE FIGHT
According to Seema, the Sea Robbers, whom he once captained during his playing days, could still become champions when the season ends in May.
“Pirates are a good team and I think they will push until the last game to challenge for the title,” Seema told SuperSport TV.

Meanwhile, Seema’s project in Bloemfontein is about stability and development towards avoiding relegation.
“Let’s get to 30 points, so that the season can finish, come next season we will build a new team that will challenge better in Jozi.”
The coach also explained that youth development has become a key part of the club’s approach.
“As Siwelele, last week… Samkelo Zwane started, and we had some other players who weren’t even here today, we’re trying to manage the players and give others a chance,” he said.
“For the youngsters, our DDC team has done very well, so I was telling them to celebrate with our supporters after this fight, when or lose, we are together. So if they are doing well, I will put them in and they did well, I think,” the former Orlando Pirates central defender concluded.
Coming up next for Siwelele is the visit of Betway Premiership newcomers Orbit College in Bloemfontein on Sunday, 22 March, while the Sea Robbers will on the same day.
