Kaizer Chiefs have some mixed news on the injury front as they prepare for a mammoth occasion against Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates.

Kaze has mixed news for Kaizer Chiefs fans

Cedric Kaze has issued updates on several injured players as the club’s preparations for the Soweto Derby intensify. Here’s the latest on Inacio Miguel, Sibongiseni Mthethwa, Etiosa Ighodaro, Thabo Cele, Bradley Cross, and George Matlou via KickOff:

“On the injury side, it is true that Miguel has missed a few games following his injury in the Carling Cup game against Stellenbosch. He has had two light training sessions with the group. He will be assessed today (Thursday) to see if he is able to feature. Ox (Mthethwa) has been training with the team for the last five sessions. He is not 100%. He can help, but not 100% fit.”

“With Ighodaro, he is definitely out and hasn’t joined the group yet. Thabo Cele is back from his injury and can help, as well as Bradley Cross.”

“George Matlou and Rushwin Dortley are also still out,” Kaze concluded.
