The representatives of Kaizer Chiefs attacker Khanyisa Mayo are not keen on transferring the CR Belouizdad player back to Algeria.
Mayo arrived at Naturena late in the September transfer window on loan from CRB until the end of the season.

With his loan deal set to run its course in a few months, his camp has begun addressing the uncertainty surrounding a possible return to Algeria.
Speaking candidly about the situation, his agent, Basia Michaels, suggested that heading back to CR Belouizdad may not be the most suitable option given past challenges.
“It’s a loan deal now, so that’s (future) yet to be determined, let’s see what happens, there’s still a good four months left, we kind of have to see what happens, where the wind blows we go from there,” Michaels said on the Smash Sports podcast.
“I think based on the difficulties we faced in Algeria, I don’t necessarily think it would be healthy for him to go back.

WHAT HAPPENED IN ALGERIA
Michaels also moved to clarify the narrative around Mayo’s time in Algeria, insisting that the striker had not struggled for acceptance or opportunities when he first arrived at CR Belouizdad.
According to her, the change in circumstances was less about performance and more about factors beyond the player’s control.
Reflecting on how events unfolded, she pointed to a shift in leadership as the turning point in what had initially been a promising chapter.
“I know for a fact the coach that signed Khanyisa, when we went and did the medicals, the pre-season camp and everything, he was actually very thankful for getting the deal done, because he was like ‘I love this kid, I want this kid,’” Michaels said.
“And the truth is, Khanyisa played what 42 games? He was a starter, there’s no doubt about it, Khanyisa was loved, there’s no doubt about it, and then there’s a change in regime, and as in life, there are changes, and there are changes we can’t control, and I do believe Khanyisa could not control, and it did not work in his favour.
“It was quite surprising to me because Sead was a coach that liked Khanyisa (from his experience at TS Galaxy), and you looked at the circumstances, a couple of things happened, there are certain things you just can’t talk about,” Michaels added.
